Persons chosen to work in Technical Operations will receive limited all access technical staff badges for the setup and general meeting day, and all three days of the Convention.

Requirements:

Must be18 years of age or older by the date of the Convention.

Some knowledge of audio visual equipment and computers required.  Additional training will be provided.

Willing to be flexible and work the assigned schedule.

Duties:

Assist the Technical Director with technical functions in the panel rooms, the main events ballroom, video room, and other areas to be determined.  This position involves moving, setting up, striking, and working with sound and lighting boards, microphones, show lighting fixtures, and projection equipment.  Additionally, along with assisting panel and entertainment groups with their audio and video requirements, duties require performing routine maintenance checks, identifying equipment malfunctions and repair needs, and alerting the Technical Director of such needs. Persons in this position must be available and able to work independently when necessary.
